alone... so very, very alone...

of course she can't take a bad picture... wife in DC all week. it's been a long month bach-in' it here. damn. lots of pizza, left over pizza, and new pizza on the menu. and bottles... lots of bottles... for R and myself. wife went to the new ww ii memorial on the DC mall... there's an interactive kiosk there... she pulled up jim mccomas' info (see below). she found it quasi interesting. she took a blue-head tour where they drive you around to the DC sites.

guide: "stay together."
old folks and the wife: "MATLOCK!"
G: "wear these matching hats and shirts, please"
blue heads: "STAY OFF THE LAWN!"
G: "find a tour buddy and hold their hand"
blueheads: "MATLOCK!!!".
G: "we're leaving now"
blueheads "SLOW DOWN!"

so, how do i have time to blog? easy. just throw the kids in rooms, lock em in w/ a bottle and forget about em for the day. wear ear plugs and crank the MP3s, too. went to mall of america yesterday (ummm... with them?). thought there'd be more people there.

i think spongy is staying w/ us this week for a few nights... we'll have our own lil political debate here. i'm sure i'll swing her over to the "right" party. if not... she sleeps in the garage.
